I qualified as a solicitor in 1977 and subsequently was the senior partner in a solicitors firm in Essex until my retirement from that firm in 2019.

In the early 1990s I started to train for work as a Notary Public and in November 1995 was granted a faculty to practice as a Notary by the Archbishop of Canterbury. All Notaries are governed by the Court of Faculties, part of the Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Archbishop of Canterbury. This is because the current Notary profession had its origin in ecclesiastical notaries from the middle-ages.

Since 1995 I have been offering a Notary service, initially in Essex, but later also in the Wisbech area, servicing Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Peterborough and environs. I now no longer operate a notary service in the Essex area.

I aim to provide a prompt, fair and reasonable service and like to think that all clients find me friendly and approachable.

I offer all kinds of Notary service, to both commercial and private clients and this includes obtaining apostilles from the Foreign & Commonwealth Office as required.
